Does your neighbour next door have the same Property Feng Shui as yours?

Is your neighbour next door who is staying in the same block, on the same floor level, sharing the same unit’s facing, with an identical Floor Plan, has the same Feng Shui as yours?
The answer is NO.

At times, the location of the Main Door or the Master Bedroom is all it takes to turn a property with good Feng Shui into a bad one.

Take an example from the Compassvale Ancilla @ Sengkang. Generally all the residential blocks in this development are either facing North or South. The Floor Plans for the various types of units are generally identical to their respective unit types.

As an illustration, 2 of the South facing units are selected. They both have identical floor plans, just side by side of each other but the internal structure is opposite of each other, like a mirror image. Their internal layout plans are as follows.

Illustration #1
Main Door is at the Northwest
Master Bedroom is at the East
Kitchen is at the Northwest

Unit A is classified as a Wu-Gui House (五鬼宅 - 鬼入雷门伤长). The Main Door, Master Bedroom and Kitchen are all located in the "Yang" Sectors, which leads to Strong Yang, and Weak Yin (阳盛阴衰), resulting in Bad Feng Shui. This unit is more prone to causing harm and hurt to the elder son.

Unit B is classified as a Yan-Nian House (延年宅 - 山泽大旺家富贵). The Main Door, Master Bedroom and Kitchen are all well-located and "supporting each other", resulting in Good Feng Shui. This unit foster good relationship bonding between the family, and beneficial to the young in term of academic pursuit.

There are various Feng Shui techniques to assess these 2 units. In the above illustration, the Yang House 3 Essentials (阳宅三要) Feng Shui Principle is used for the analysis.

With reference to this Feng Shui Principle, Unit B is a better Choice as it has better Feng Shui than Unit A.

At times, some of the Chinese verses or phrases that were used in Feng Shui might be scary, like the “ghost entering the house” as mentioned in the above illustration for Unit A. However, it simply means that the house is not enjoying good Feng Shui and more care should be taken on the elder son, as he could be more prone to encounter any unfavorable activities or events that might even cause harm to him.
